This tour offers the perfect combination of nature, history, snorkeling, and island culture.
The experience begins with a visit to the iconic rock formation known as Morgan’s Head, located off the coast of Santa Catalina Island. Its silhouette resembles a human face and takes its name from the legendary pirate captain. Both stops are perfect for photos and enjoying the scenery, lasting approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Next, we cross the Lovers’ Bridge, a structure rebuilt after Hurricane Iota, symbolizing the connection between Santa Catalina and Providencia.
The journey continues to Crab Cay, located within the McBean Lagoon National Natural Park. Here, you can climb to the top of the cay to admire the stunning shades of the Caribbean Sea and enjoy your first snorkeling session in its crystal-clear waters, lasting about 30 minutes.
We then head to White Shoal and Margarita’s Place for the second snorkeling stop, where you’ll see restored coral patches, schools of tropical fish, and beautiful coral formations. This activity lasts around 20 minutes.
The tour then visits Manzanillo Beach, an iconic spot in the south of Providencia, where you’ll have 20 minutes to enjoy its natural surroundings and local atmosphere.
Finally, we arrive at South West Beach, famous for its traditional horse races. If you take the morning tour, you can choose to stay for lunch at one of the beachfront restaurants. This last stop also lasts about 20 minutes.
